Florian is a freelance talent specialized in Finance, he is also the co-founder of a Tech start-up. He studied corporate finance at EM Lyon. Before becoming an independent consultant, Florian worked for BNP Parisbas, Axa Private Equity and then became a consultant at EY. Florian is proactive and persevering.
Background & Objectives
Setting the financial course
The construction of the financial trajectory over the next 3 years required us to take into account the specific market conditions in all the countries where the Group operates (inflation, growth, consumption patterns, etc.).
Identify growth drivers and preserve margins
- Develop organic/local products on the one hand, and reinforce mass purchasing on the other
- Determine the mix between major brands and own-brands
- Launch new distribution models (online, discount, etc.)
- Anticipate and calibrate pricing/promotion policies according to markets.
Methodological approach
Each country proposed a financial trajectory specific to the characteristics of its market. Florian was in daily contact with the country finance departments to ensure that local ambitions were in line with Group objectives.
Results
Approved by Comex, the financial plan is currently being implemented in the Group's countries. Florian has been asked to take on another assignment within the Group Finance Department.
